Duplicating Successes

If the thought of designing your own penthouse sounds cool, then Property Markets Group is making it both fun and really classy. Here in Miami, PMG has two exemplary properties in the pipeline, Echo Aventura and Echo Brickell, where they are finessing everything from conceptual design with Carlos Ott to interior design by the likes of yoo Studio and Yabu Pushelberg. These Echo locations will create a perfect developer-ready suite and then let you play with an app that allows you to add in, change and upgrade materials such as Brazilian wood, marble slabs or even furniture to taste. Between purchase and your move-in date, all you have to do is open an app, make your selection, and sleep tight till your sheets are laid out exactly as the doctor ordered. Like the sound of PMG now? We'll 'echo' that.

"Echo is a brand we have designed for Miami," stated PMG Founder; Kevin Maloney. The flavor of Miami is being infused into every ingredient so that selections between artisan oak linen wood and oak slate wood will let you spice up your master bedroom to the desired heat. "We've made deals with the best furniture companies and have about 20 package options; if you want Fendi or Artefacto furniture, you can choose it right on the app." said Maloney. The beauty is that the concept is entirely cohesive; the pre-selected interior upgrades are the result of the adept eye of Carlos Ott in collaboration with yoo Studio at Echo Brickell and with Yabu Pushelberg at Echo Aventura. "Carlos is amazing, he can really work with materials to make some beautiful statements," said Maloney. "He has powerful design ideas but he is also malleable and very good to work with."

Echo Aventura's gentle curves and 11 floors of bravura are set for completion in early 2015. With five acres of land and 190 units (18 of them penthouses) that range from 1,500 square feet to 4,020 unit prices run from $500 per square foot to roughly $900 per square foot. The conceptual designs engineered by Carlos Ott and stunning interiors by Yabu Pushelberg make for touches that magnify the beauty of life in Aventura. If you were wondering, life at Echo Aventura means bay front terraces of over 500 square feet and indoor appliances decked out in Sub-Zero, Wolf, and Miele. Along with the simplicity of buying, upgrading and owning, residences at Echo Aventura will come with breathtaking views and include concierge services and valet parking. Just across the street is one of the best schools in Florida for those looking to move their kids and their living standards to the front of the class.

PMG is not only raising the bar with design and simplicity, but also trends in Miami real estate. With the 57-story over on Brickell Avenue, PMG and partner JDS are setting a new precedent for quality in the neighborhood to, "create a very boutique style residence option," enthused Maloney. Some similar concepts to Echo Aventura will be incorporated, like the intuitive app that will allow buyers to select and upgrade interiors, but it will also ensure spacious and state-of-the-art living spaces unique to Brickell Avenue. Echo Brickell will feature 180 residences between 760 and 4,300 square feet (penthouses will be located on the top 10 floors) priced an, "average of $1,200 per square foot, with the upper units being more and the lower units a little less," as Maloney put it. the residences will feature gorgeous Biscayne Bay and city views, convenient Apple Home technology (letting you control sensory experiences like lighting and music with your iPhone) and 10 to 14-foot ceilings. Complimenting the curve of the tower's Ott-designed facade will be interior designs from yoo Studio, another first-time collaboration that is sure to tease the town with an immaculate air of expression.

It's not surprising that the former banker's investment was well chose. Maloney and PMG have built a reputation around the country by finding diamonds in the market, but Echo is doing exceptionally well. Banking on these successes, PMG recently launched their fifth development called Muse in Sunny Isles. If the current two are any indication, Muse will be yet another phenomenal addition to an already impressive roster.
