Our team is driven daily by the idea of fostering transcendent developments, leading to the creation of iconic structures and meaningful developments throughout the country.
Since its founding in 1991 by Kevin Maloney, Property Markets Group (PMG) has evolved from a local real estate operator in New York City into a highly acclaimed national investment, development, and asset management firm. Led by Managing Partners Ryan Shear and Dan Kaplan, the firm has garnered acclaim for its expertise in crafting new construction developments across major markets such as Florida, New York, Colorado, South Carolina, Tennessee, and Georgia. It currently holds an extensive portfolio of 175 projects, with more than 10,000 residential units and over 18 million square feet of development in total across the country. PMG’s Society Living multi-family brand pipeline additionally extends nationwide to Atlanta, Brooklyn, Denver, Fort Lauderdale, Miami, and Nashville, with more locations to be announced.

With an in-house team trained to manage the full development life-cycle, including land use and acquisitions, financing and accounting, design and construction, asset management, marketing, sales and leasing, and legal oversight, the firm is well equipped to take on large-scale developmental visions, seamlessly and efficiently bringing them to fruition. Additionally, PMG’s Affordable Housing and commercial divisions are expanding nationally to deliver more housing options to neighborhoods with the greatest need.
Founded in 2021, PMG Residential was formed as PMG’s in-house brokerage division with a primary mission of managing PMG’s diverse portfolio of for-sale residential developments. PMG Residential is responsible for a total sales solution and adapting to market changes to provide immediate return for each development.
